Lifting Equipment

Spiral Vibratory Elevator

Lift suitable granules along a spiral tray with a spiral vibratory elevator where a compact vertical transfer is needed.

Production Problems It Solves

A higher discharge point within a limited footprint

The helical tray provides an ascending material path around the central support.

Material needing an exposed tray transfer instead of buckets

Vibratory travel advances the solids without a bucket loading and emptying cycle.

Where It Fits in Your Plant

Pellet processing

Raise suitable dry pellets to the next process level where their flow behavior suits the spiral motion.

Transfer with thermal treatment

A specifically equipped tray can combine lifting with heating or cooling. The lifting mechanism alone does not establish a cooling capacity or final product temperature.

How the Spiral Vibratory Elevator Works

Vibratory drives move the spiral assembly so material progresses upward along the tray. There is no rotating screw flight conveying the product through a tube. Springs isolate the moving structure and the inlet and discharge need suitable flexible interfaces.

Selection Factors

  • Lift route: tray width, pitch and discharge elevation determine the available path.
  • Supports: the spring assembly and surrounding structure must allow the intended motion.
  • Thermal duty: heating or cooling requires a defined heat-transfer arrangement in addition to the lifting mechanism.

Suitable Materials for Elevating

Plastic pellets

Material form
Dry pellets
Typical application
Raise pellets between adjacent process elevations
Handling considerations
Transport response and pellet temperature

Metal parts

Material form

Common Issues & Checks

  • Material stalling on the tray: inspect deposits, uneven loading and changes in feed behavior.
  • Vibration transmitted to piping: inspect flexible joints and unintended rigid contact after isolation.

Frequently asked questions

How does material move up the spiral?

Vibration advances particles along the spiral tray. Tray geometry and drive settings control upward progression, with flexible connections at the inlet and outlet.
