Screening Equipment
Sift dry powders through a cylindrical mesh with an airflow screening machine, also called a centrifugal sifter.
The rotor presents powder to the mesh so accepted material and retained particles follow separate outlets.
The rotor distributes the powder against the cylindrical screen rather than depending on one small landing area.
Sift ingredients before blending or packing to separate oversized particles and loose lumps. Hard foreign objects can damage the screen and require upstream control.
Screen compatible calcium carbonate or similar powder ahead of packaging. Rotor action can affect fragile particles; this is a mesh sifter, not an air classifier that separates by aerodynamic behavior.
Feed enters the housing and is distributed by a rotor. The movement presents powder to the cylindrical mesh; accepted material passes through while oversize is discharged separately. Rotor clearance and mesh support affect operation.
