Conveying Equipment

Tubular Vibratory Conveyor

Transfer bulk solids along an enclosed vibrating tube with a tubular vibratory conveyor between fixed process machines.

Production Problems It Solves

Open conveying surfaces releasing dust

A tube encloses the carrying path, with inlet and outlet joints completing containment.

Material needing transfer without an internal screw

Vibration advances the solids along the tube rather than rotating a flight through the product.

Where It Fits in Your Plant

Screen discharge transfer

Connect a screening outlet to a downstream receiver for suitable dry granules or powders. Product flow depends on how the material responds to the tube motion.

Short process connections

Move material between nearby machines with flexible joints at vibrating interfaces. Sticky buildup or a rigidly constrained tube can interrupt travel; this is not pneumatic long-distance transport.

How the Tubular Vibratory Conveyor Works

Vibratory drives move the tube so particles advance by repeated inertial movement. Flexible connections and isolated supports accommodate the moving housing at the inlet and outlet.

Selection Factors

  • Moving envelope: provide clearance around the tube, springs and attached drive assembly.
  • Connections: rigid inlet or outlet pipes can restrain the designed motion; use the specified flexible interfaces.
  • Material response: density, cohesion and friction affect how the material advances under vibration.

Suitable Materials for Conveying

Grain

Material form
Dry grains
Typical application
Transfer grains between adjacent process points
Handling considerations
Transport response and breakage tolerance

Plastic pellets

Material form
Dry pellets
Typical application
Move pellets through a contained route
Handling considerations
Static behavior and inlet distribution

Mineral granules

Material form
Dry granular solids
Typical application
Transfer screened granules to the next stage
Handling considerations
Abrasion and vibration isolation

Common Issues & Checks

  • Poor conveying: inspect buildup, restrained connections and uneven support loading.
  • Excess vibration in nearby equipment: inspect isolation supports and unintended rigid contact after shutdown.

Frequently asked questions

What moves the material inside the tube?

The tube itself vibrates and advances the particles by repeated inertial movement. It does not use a circulating chain or a rotating screw flight.
