Polymer pellets require removal of off-size material and transfer to a receiving bin. Pellet temperature, dust and static-related requirements must be stated.
A linear screen may evaluate size separation. A belt or pipe chain route can then be compared for layout, deposits and pellet damage. The selected contact surfaces and cleaning method need confirmation.
Define grading, density, temperature and acceptable fines generation. Include the bin inlet and extraction or containment needs in the route drawing. Compare the particle distribution after transport, and verify the proposed electrical and material arrangements for the site.
Define the off-size particle band and permitted fines. Check whether warm pellets, static or tacky material change screen passage or deposits during an extended run. Review pickup and discharge details so the receiving process does not restrict flow. Agree which fraction is sampled and how retained residue is checked after a product change.
