Ultrasonic Vibrating Screen

Keep fine-powder screening openings clear with an ultrasonic vibrating screen for coating powders, mineral fillers and other cohesive dry powders.

Production Problems It Solves

Fine mesh repeatedly blocking

Ultrasonic excitation helps release adhering particles so more openings remain available for separation.

Manual brushing interrupting production

In-process mesh deblinding reduces reliance on stopping to clear light deposits; it does not repair damaged mesh or remove moisture.

Where It Fits in Your Plant

Powder coating preparation

Screen dry coating powder before packing or reuse to retain agglomerates that can affect the finished coating.

Fine filler production

Separate oversized particles from calcium carbonate and ceramic powders. The required aperture remains the cut specification; ultrasonic power is not a substitute for choosing the correct mesh.

How the Ultrasonic Vibrating Screen Works

The separator moves the bulk material across a screen while a generator and transducer transmit high-frequency vibration into a compatible screen assembly. This local vibration can reduce adhesion at the mesh. The mechanical motor power and the ultrasonic generator power are separate specifications and should be identified separately.

Selection Factors

  • Ultrasonic assembly: the generator, transducer and transmitting frame must operate as a compatible set.
  • Aperture: select the required cut first; ultrasonic cleaning does not turn a coarse mesh into a finer screen.
  • Power ratings: mechanical drive power and ultrasonic output describe different parts of the machine.

Common Issues & Checks

  • Falling passage rate: inspect coating on the mesh and the condition of the tuned assembly after safe isolation.
  • Persistent wet lumps: ultrasonic excitation does not remove moisture or replace a separate lump-breaking step.

Frequently asked questions

Can ultrasound be added to any existing screen?

Compatibility depends on the frame, transducer coupling and generator tuning. Match the assembly rather than buying the generator alone.
